Nestled along the banks of the picturesque Catawba River. We are just 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte and yet a world away from the harried lifestyle of the big city. Right across the street is River Street Park (with Disc Golf course). We are a quick walk to the Dutchman Creek boat and kayak launch on the Catawba River (be sure to check out Aquatic Adventures), CaroMont Regional Medical Center, and charming Downtown Mount Holly.
Mount Holly, NC offers attractions including Lake Norman, the U.S. National Whitewater Center (12 minutes away), and the Billy Graham Library. Entertainment spots include SideTrax Sports Bar and Treble Clef Wine Shop, while family fun can be had at the SEA LIFE Aquarium and Carolina Raptor Center.
The driveway accomodates up to (4) four cars. Uber and Lyft are great options, as well as walking on foot.
-NO SMOKING anywhere on the property (inside OR outside). Vaping is permitted OUTDOORS only. **A $500 FINE WILL BE CHARGED FOR SMOKING OF ANY KIND INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE HOUSE.**
-Mount Holly has a strict 10 pm to 7 am noise ordinance, with fines up to $1,500. Failure to comply may lead to immediate eviction without reimbursement if neighbors contact the authorities.

-**Please don’t flush anything but toilet paper!! The system is sensitve and may back up if anything but TP is flushed.**
-**Please do not dispose of grease directly down the kitchen sink drain! That too will damage the system. Please dispose of grease in the garbage can only.**

The house is very nicely done! Everything is new, clean, and works! There was an issue with some batteries missing in the fan remotes but the host was very responsive. The property is in a great location, a short drive to downtown Mt Holly, a short drive to the Whitewater Rafting Center and not far from anything in Charlotte. The only negative i could find would be the subpar water pressure but that may not even be due to anything the host had done to the property. Overall a spectacular property for our excursion.
